Integrating Mind, Body and Breath

Welcome to Yoga Child, a serene and green renovated, neighborhood yoga center in the Washington Square West section of Philadelphia. Our center offers an extensive variety of adult Vinyasa, Ashtanga and hatha classes, prenatal and postpartum yoga as well as an award winning program for kids, teens and families. Our wish is to make yoga accessible to anyone who wants to experience yoga's benefits and to help guide the experienced practitioner into a deeper level of practice. We are located on the sunny and peaceful, 900 block of South Street, right next door to Whole foods.

Our prenatal and postpartum yoga program is the areas most comprehensive, coming highly recommended by area obstetricians and midwives as well as by Philadelphia and Philly Style magazines. Our offerings include prenatal yoga, our signature Mind, Body, Birth preparation course, birth preparation workshops, mother & baby yoga classes, and zen breast feeding workshops.

In addition to our studio programs, Yoga Child has established a nationally recognized school and community program where our skilled staff travel to schools and youth facilities to teach yoga to children and adolescents. We also hold an annual training to teach interested applicants how to teach yoga to children and teens.

At Yoga Child we encourage each practitioner to understand and listen to their body. Yoga is an opportunity to tune into your inner voice and learn ways in which you can achieve a heightened state of well being through the integration of mind, body and breath.
