Ashtanga Yoga - For those who want a serious workout, Ashtanga yoga offers a fast-paced series of sequential poses beginning with sun salutations. Expect to move from one posture to another in a continual flow and link movements to your breath. This physically demanding yoga was developed by K. Pattabhi Jois to build strength, flexibility, and stamina.
Fusion Fit
Come sweat and develop the length of a dancer, the strength of an athlete, and flexibility of a yogi with this highly effective full body fitness regime.
Set to upbeat music, this vigorous work out blends the lengthening and toning of dance, with the stretch of yoga, and core strengthening of pilates. In this class muscles are vigorously worked and challenged. Followed the hard work you can enjoy a series of stretches that will elongate, lift, and shape your entire body. Ideal for practitioners who want more dynamic and varied sequences in their workout.
Format of the class:
The class begins with a fast paced dance and yoga warm up. Next we work the upper body using our own body weight in a series of plank and push up variations. Following that we will perform a sequence of ballet postures that will carve and tone the legs and gluts. Then comes abdominal exercises and pilates to create a firm flat stomach. We end the class with a cool down that uses yoga to stretch out the exhausted muscles.
Hatha Bliss-This class has been so named because there is no better way to explain 90 minutes of yoga with Robin Trent. In this class you can enjoy meditation, pranayama, and the skilled and mindful instruction of one of Philadelphia's favorite yoga instructor's. This is an ideal class for someone who would like a comprehensive yoga class, designed to strengthen and stretch at a patient pace which ranges from nurturing to challenging. In this Hatha style class you expect a dose of yoga based strengthening asana, but you will not find the fluid pace of a vinyasa class here. All levels of student are welcome.
Hatha Yoga and Meditation - A new class taught by Aleeze Moss, Ph.d. A teacher of yoga and mindfulness, Aleeze weaves her two crafts together to create a harmonizing and balanced yoga and meditation experience. Come join us for this new addition to our schedule and see how just a small dose of meditation can plant the seeds for a beautiful day.
Relaxed Prana Flow - This class is a vinyasa style class, meaning that it will move at a
fluid pace, but within the paradigm of vinyasa, it is one that moves
at an intentionally slower pace, permitting more opportunity for understanding alignment and proper positioning. Experience the nurturing qualities of yoga and your own self through Prana Flow. This class provides a balance to the more Vigorous Prana Flow classes offered on Fridays and Sundays and other vigorous practices. We will open ourselves to breathing and foundational Asana posturesthrough the Prana Flow® Vinyasa Method which entails: cultivating inner and outer strength and fluidity, skill and intuition, vital energy and relaxed being, and activation and receptivity through balanced and creative fluid sequences.
Restorative Yoga - Gravity does the work, as we climb into the most delicious shapes, using bolsters, blocks and blankets, along with deep, conscious breathing, releasing blockage and tension to increase mobility and create space in the body. Beautiful music, poetry and inspirational readings are sure to ease your mind and soothe your soul, replenishing you for the week ahead. Appropriate for the newcomer and the advanced practitioner
Vinyasa - This class emphasizes sequencing of
postures and the practice of linking ones breath with the movement of the body. In these classes you can expect to work hard. These classes are suitable for those with at least one year of yoga experience as the class moves at a more fluid pace than our other classes. If you are brand new to yoga, we suggest that you start with our Tuesday evening Beginner series prior to coming to these classes. This will allow you to obtain a solid foundation prior to learning to link poses together and increasing your pace.
Vinyasa Bliss- This class is the best of both worlds. A fluid vinyasa style yoga class
for the first hour and restorative blissful yoga for the remaining 30 minutes. Some yoga experience is recommended as the vinyasa portion will move fluidly.
Vinyasa Power Hour - Expect to work hard and get fit as we heat up the body with a powerful and fluid one hour practice designed to enliven the spirit and awaken your Monday morning muscles.
Vinyasa Prana Flow - Enjoy a fluid and according to some, our most challenging Vinyasa class. While working hard you can experience a focus on alignment, and safe sequencing. This class is set to great music so get ready to have some fun. This class is not recommended for those who are brand new to yoga.

Five minutes of sacred time will be reserved for a mini savasana before you head out into the South Street Sunshine. The 90 minute Yoga rise class will be the same format as above but with slightly longer durations of each aspect of the practice.
Yoga over 45 - Just for the over 45 crowd. Honor the changing needs
of your body by creating continued fluidity in the spine while gently stretching
your muscles.
