1. I am new to yoga. Will I be okay in class? Yes. Our instructors
will provide detailed instruction so that even the most inexperienced mammas
to be and new mammas will be comfortable and well cared for.
2. When should I start and how long can I do yoga? You may
start at any time in your pregnancy and can continue up until your due date.
Yoga babies begins after your postpartum checkup and continues until your
baby is actively crawling.
3. Can I try just one prenatal class and pay a drop in rate or observe a class? Instead of trying just one class, we offer you the opportunity to try a whole week of Prenatal Yoga with our one week prenatal class pass for just $20. Come once, or come up as often as you can that week. After your one week card is up you will need to purchase a class card if you would like to continue.
4. Can I get a refund, credit or extension if I do not use all of
the classes on my class card?
No. You must use your classes prior
to their expiration date. Extensions cannot be granted and class cards are
non-refundable and non-transferable. Please do not ask. We realize that everyone
has life transitions, family and work responsibilities, unexpected sickness,
vacations etc. We are sorry that we cannot make allowances for these
experiences. Please know that refunds, credits and extensions will not be
given except in the most extraordinary circumstances and plan accordingly
by purchasing a number of classes that you can realistically use in the given
time period. You can always bring old expired classes back to life with the purchase of a new class card.
5. Can I apply my unused prenatal classes towards Yoga Babies classes or any other classes at the studio? Only if you purchased a 50 class premier prenatal pass which is valid for two years post delivery. For all other class passes you may bring your unused or expired classes back to life with the purchase of a new card.
What if I deliver my baby early, but I still have classes on my prenatal card?
If you deliver your baby 2 weeks earlier than your anticipated due date, and your early delivery is what precludes you from using your classes, then you can apply up to 4 unused classes towards yoga babies classes or adult yoga classes. These credits must be used within 8 weeks of your postpartum checkup for Yoga Babies and can only be applied when signing up for the whole session of yoga babies. If you choose to apply your unused classes towards adult yoga classes, they must be used within 6 months of your postpartum checkup. Please note that these options only apply to those who delivered their babies 2 weeks early and where the early delivery has precluded use of the remaining classes.
6. What if I have unused classes on my prenatal class card at the time of my delivery, but I did not deliver 2 weeks early?
If you have classes remaining on your class card at the time of delivery please know that unused classes can be brought back to life by:
a) Purchasing an adult yoga class card within two years of your delivery date.
When you do this, we will automatically add your unused classes onto your new adult yoga pass. Please contact us within a few months of your delivery and advise that you plan to do this.
or
b) Registering and paying for a session of Yoga babies. When you do this, we will automatically give you an adult class pass for the value of your unused prenatal classes. You will then have two years to use the adult classes on your new pass.
6. Can I come to prenatal yoga any time I want or do I have to choose a certain day
of the week? You may come whenever it works for you and your schedule.
You do not need to select a certain class. This provides you with an opportunity
to explore our different instructors and their teaching styles.
7. In what style are your prenatal classes taught? The foundation
of the class is Vinyasa yoga and the application is designed specifically
to address the needs of your changing body and the needs of your birthing
body. We use yoga asana to stretch, strengthen and tone, and to relieve common
pregnancy discomforts. Each class includes a plethora of postures designed
prepare your body and mind for upcoming birth experience.
8. In what style are the Yoga Babies classes taught? Your
baby will share your mat as you engaging in a blend of rhythmic
replenishing vinyasa yoga. If your baby is sleeping you get your mat to yourself!
9.Can I try out one yoga babies class before signing up? No, but we welcome you to observe one class for the $10 observation fee prior to signing up. If you register on that same day, the observation fee can be applied to your program.
